The nose is aromatic, elegant and offers a certain intensity. It reveals notes of redcurrant, small berries / wild berries and fine notes of blackberry combined with slight touches of dark chocolate / cocoa, discreet hints of toasted oak, undergrowth, slight notes of vanilla as well as slight hints of Cuben pepper and licorice stick. The palate is fruity, mineral, elegant, nicely powerful and offers a finesse, a nice roundness / amplitude, precision as well as a (very) beautiful silky matter and a slight unctuosity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry cream, crushed strawberry and slight notes of cassis combined with slight touches of licorice, chocolate, slight notes of oak / coffee. Tannins are fine, polished and well-built. Good length and persistence.
