The nose is fruity, aromatic, elegant and slightly concentrated. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, blackberry and slight notes of redcurrant, wild strawberry combined with touches of earth (gravel/terroir), fresh strawberry and subtle touches of cuben pepper and spices. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced, racy and offers a beautiful mineral frame, fat, a slight acidity, juiciness as well as a beautiful density and elegance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, crushed blackberry and strawberry associated with touches of ripe red berries, mocha, Bourbon vanilla as well as a very discreet hint of caramelized oak and an imperceptible touch of coffee (in the background). Tannins are fine, elegant, structuring and very slightly tight. Good length and beautiful persistence.
