Château Lafleur-gazin 2020 – Pomerol

On the nose it is elegant and offers power, freshness, excellence, accuracy, power in excellence as well as a nice precision. It reveals the notes of bright wild blackberry, violet and pulpy wild berries associated with hints of wild strawberry, morello cherry, violet, fine points of crushed purple plum as well as hints of tonka bean, nutmeg and a discreet touch of cuben pepper. On the mouth it is fruity, discreetly tight and offers juiciness, freshness, minerality, good definition, a certain gourmandize, energy, a certain tension as well as a stretched side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, bright raspberry and more lightly juicy/sparkling blueberry combined with hints of fleshy strawberry, chocolate, tonka bean, toast as well as discrete hints of hazelnut, bergamot, saffron, roasted hazelnut and discrete hints of vanilla. The tannins are precise and supple. Good length. Presence of a very discreet coffee touch at the end of the mouth/persistence.
