There are notes of fresh/juicy cherry, bright raspberry and more lightly blackcurrant combined with hints of zan, blueberry and a subtle hint of vanilla. The palate is nicely round/full bodied and offers freshness, juiciness, acidity and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/acidic/juicy red berries, pulpy/juicy blackcurrant and slightly crunchy raspberry combined with hints of fresh/juicy blue berries, hints of star anise as well as a subtle hint of fresh blond tobacco and a subtle hint of sweet spices. Roundness, freshness and a nice acidic backbone.
