Château Lafitte 2019 – Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is fruity and offers a fine concentration, a fine racy richness and a very fine power. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, crushed wild strawberry, small notes of blackberry associated with fine touches of violet, hints of racy minerality and mild tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a fine acidulous frame, precision, tension as well as freshness, a good definition and a juicy/pulpy/fresh fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, juicy raspberry, small notes of violet associated with touches of fresh blackberry, juicy/pulpy cherry as well as fine hints of liquorice, mild tobacco and a very discreet hint of vanilla (in the background). Tannins are structuring and well-buit. Good length.
