The nose is beautifully conducted, elegant, complex, with a noble austerity, depth and a multi-layered side. It expresses notes of violet, boysenberry, and pulpy raspberry associated with touches of wild red berries, as well as fine hints of lilac, racy minerality, a fine hint of cherry blossom and a discreet hint of toast. The palate is beautifully mineral and offers freshness, tension of juiciness, accuracy, a tangy frame, a certain gourmandise, precision, a nice stretched/red thread side. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright purple plum and more slightly – bright raspberry, associated with touches of crushed red berries, as well as hints of infusion, star anise and fine hints of toast, nutmeg, fresh hazelnut, a subtle hint almost of Bourbon vanilla pod in the background. All elegance, delicacy, a fine creaminess with precision, fresh and stretched. A certain softness in the middle of the mouth. Freshness and a certain minerality, juiciness and a long/stretched side, the tannins are tasty, elegant, precise, fine and relatively polished/soft.
