The nose is elegant, complex and offers a multi-layered side, richness, elegance, subtlety as well as a little almost airy side. We find notes of pulpy blackcurrant, small, fairly ripe/fresh wild red fruits and lily associated with touches of flint, fresh sap (almost eucalyptus), hints of graphite, fresh spices. as well as a touch of lilac and vanilla. The palate is fresh, mineral and offers good definition, smoothness, juiciness as well as an elegant and fresh tannin structure. There is a lovely finesse and subtlety in its fat and roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, pulpy blackcurrant and small notes of small fresh/bright red fruits associated with touches of pulpy plums, fresh cherry, eucalyptus, fresh camphor as well as touches of hints of star anise, fresh blond tobacco, smoke, bergamot, toasted-fresh notes and a subtle floral hint. The tannins are pretty, chalky, rich and fresh. An elegant wine that offers an airy side.
