The nose is aromatic, fresh and powerful. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and crushed wild strawberry associated with small notes of red berries, cornflower/lily, gray pepper as well as subtle touches of sweet spices and toasted. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a fine unctuosity, straightness, an acid frame, a fine power, a fine richness, a beautiful grain as well as freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, fleshy cassis and more slightly fleshy raspberry, black cherry associated with fine touches of liquorice, toasted oak as well as fine touches of almond, coffee (in the background) and discreet touches of chocolate (in the background). Tannins are fine and elegant. Good length and persistence. Fruity and acidulous persistence.
