The nose is fruity, gourmand and relatively intense. It reveals notes of crunchy blackberry, wild strawberries and cassis associated with a small touch of wild berries a well as slight notes of racy minerality, spices (hint of grey pepper, clove…), toasted oak and a very discreet hint of roasting. The palate is fruity, soft, fleshy and offers a good density, a nice minerality, an acid frame, fat, roundness as well as tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, blackberry and crunchy wild strawberry associated to discreet hints of small juicy wild berries, toasted oak, a hint of Bourbon vanilla as well as a very discreet hint of zan and tobacco. Tannins are fine and currently a bit young (wait 2018). Good length. There are slight notes of saline minerality on the finish.
