Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey 2018 – Bordeaux Blanc

The nose is fuity, fresh and offers a racy minerality (gravels/terroir), a good freshness as well as a very fine richness. It reveals notes of ripe lemon, ripe mandarine and small notes of fresh peach associated with small touches of flowers, nuts as well as fine hints of juicy/fleshy pink grapefruit and very discreet hints of zests. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, suavity, fleshiness, a good acidulous frame, a good fullness as well as fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe lemon, ripe mandarine and small notes of juicy/ripe kumquat associated with fine touches of white peach/juicy pear, a subtle hint of quenette, juicy/fleshy pink grapefruit as well as a very discreet hint of quince and very discreet hints of toasted. Good length.
