Château Lafaurie 2023 – Puisseguin Saint-Emilion

Château Lafaurie 2023 – Puisseguin Saint-Emilion

The nose is well-managed and offers good definition, fine concentration, a stretched side as well as a varietal hint. There are notes of pulpy/fresh blackberry, Cubeb pepper and more slightly smoke associated with touches of spices and small fleshy/juicy fruits. The palate is nicely juicy, pulpy, fresh, balanced and offers a tangy frame, accuracy, tension, suppleness, an airy side in its fleshiness/material. It expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cherry, pulpy/juicy blackberry and more slightly – blueberry associated with touches of bourbon vanilla, chocolate and toast. Good length, the tannins are soft and toasted. Nice freshness and juiciness. Brightness and delicacy, fine hints of chocolate in the background.
