The nose is spicy, direct and restrained. There are notes of small wild red berries, lily and more slightly iris, combined with hints of juicy blackberry and fine pepper. The palate is fruity and reveals freshness, minerality, good definition, a certain juiciness, a fine structure, some lightness on the mid-palate and an acidic structure. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy cherry, raspberry and more lightly crunchy red berry notes combined with hints of lilac/lys and fine cardamom. A slightly tight finish. The tannins are finely woven. A subtle hint of rose on the finish.
