The nose is fruity and tangy. There are notes of fresh/sour redcurrants, cherry and a bit of pepper/spice with hints of flowers and a touch of fresh/crisp blackcurrant. The palate is fruity with juiciness, minerality, acidity, good definition, gourmandise, energy and good acidity. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, cherry and slightly tart/chunky currant notes combined with hints of pepper, flowers (violet, iris) and fine chocolate and vanilla. The tannins are supple and tight. Good length. Suave.
