On the nose it is fruity and it offers freshness, an airy character, richness (in finesse and gourmandize). It reveals the notes of bright blackberry, violet and more slightly raspberry associated with touches of cherry kirsh, flowers and fine points of pepper. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, freshness, minerality as well as good definition, gourmandize, fat, suavity and roundness. On the palate, notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, small red berries and more slightly cassis associated with touches of violet, the zan, fresh blond tobacco as well as discreet hints of toasted almond. A subtle hint of oaky sweetness on the finish.
