The nose is fresh, fruity and has a certain intensity and fine grain. There are notes of racy minerality, pulpy berries and a hint of pepper, combined with touches of crunchy blackcurrant, crushed raspberry, star anise and a discreet hint of Bourbon vanilla (in the background). The palate is mineral and offers freshness, fatness, juiciness and an acidic frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of plummy/juicy plum, crunchy raspberry and slightly crushed cherry, combined with hints of vanilla and a touch of fresh lily, racy minerality and fine hints of chocolate (in the background). Good length. A very discreet hint of toasted hazelnut in the background. The tannins are well-managed and finely mellow.
