The nose is discreetly tight and offers fine granularity, fine concentration and some freshness. There are hints of liquorice, ripe wild blackcurrant and slightly crushed blackberry with hints of crushed strawberry and fine pepper (in the background). The palate is fresh, juicy and offers a mineral backbone, good definition and a nice juiciness of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed strawberry, juicy/pulpy cherry and more slightly juicy/acidic blackcurrant combined with touches of liquorice, lily and hints of sweet spice. The tannins are discreetly tight.
