Château Laborde Mondésir 2022 – Lalande de Pomerol

The nose is fruity, offering aromatic depth, softness and a certain density of fruit. It reveals notes of crushed strawberry, creamy raspberry and small notes of creamy blackcurrant, associated with touches of liquorice stick, bourbon vanilla as well as a subtle hint of graphene, almost aniseed, and toasted. The palate is fruity, nicely fresh, energetic, with a certain softness, gourmandise and a little verticality. It expresses a darkness in its tannic structure, with a powdery touch. On the palate, we find notes of fresh blackberry, pulpy raspberry and small notes of juicy/fresh black berries, associated with pretty mineral touches (testifying to the terroir), toasted, mocha as well as fine nuances of blond tobacco, a hint of vanilla and a subtle hazelnut touch. Good length. The tannins are mellow and well framed.
