The nose is fruity and slightly gourmand. It reveals notes of toasted oak/caramelized, blackberry and cassis associated with slight hints of plum, chocolate/mocha/cardamom as well as a very discreet/imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, fine, round, slightly aerial and offers a beautiful/fine mineral frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry and plum associated with slight notes of raspberry, cassis bud, woody notes as well as a very discreet toasted hint, chocolate and coffee. Tannins are fine and very slightly dry. There is a small gourmandise on the persistence.
