On the nose, powerful, intense, finely textured, and a bit restrained. It reveals notes of pulpy boysenberry, ripe strawberry and hints of blueberry combined with touches of fleshy redcurrant and hints of lilac, fresh nutmeg, a discreet nuance of varietal and spice. On the palate it is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, minerality, good definition, a certain generosity of fruit as well as a slightly tight structure and a finely marked tannic framework. The wine expresses juicy/fresh blackberry, redcurrant and light raspberry notes with hints of violet, lilac, minerality and fine fresh tobacco. Good length. The fine mellow tannins.
