The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers concentration, tanginess of black fruits, as well as a fine spiciness in the background. It expresses aromas of blackcurrant, wild blackberry and morello cherry, combined with notes of wild strawberry, red cherry and raspberry coulis. We also find delicate touches of licorice, white pepper, cloves, dried mint and toast in the background. The palate is airy, juicy, fruity and slightly spicy. It expresses the flavors of wild strawberry, crushed raspberry, blackcurrant, morello cherry, wild blackberry, a tangy hint of red cherry, as well as notes of licorice, white pepper, nutmeg and violet. The acidity is fresh and the tannins are quite fine, but gripping and slightly bitter on the finish. The finish is gourmand, fruity and juicy, moderately persistent.
