Château Labat 2019 – Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois Supérieur

The nose is toasted. There are notes of raspberry and, more slightly, crushed cherry, combined with touches of fresh blond tobacco, as well as fine nuances of nutmeg and a discreet hint of almond (in the background). The palate is mineral, balanced and offers freshness, a fine fatness, roundness and fresh acidity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/pulpy blackberry, pulpy/fresh strawberry and more slightly crunchy red berries combined with hints of chocolate, toast and a touch of roast and toastiness. There is a subtle hint of chocolate in the background.
