The nose is relatively powerful and gourmand. It reveals notes of grilled oak and mocha associated with discreet touches of cassis, cherry as well as a hint of red berries, a toasted hint and spices. The palate is fruity, sleek, mineral, well-balanced and offers tension as well as a certain finesse. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe/juicy raspberry, blackberry and slight notes of wild strawberry associated with a discreet hint of cassis, chocolate, licorice and a woody hint. Tannins are very slightly tight and firm. Good length and persistence.
