The nose is closed at first, but after aeration, it expresses notes of morello cherry, bigarreau cherry, raspberry, strawberry, peony, licorice, vanilla, a hint of chocolate and wild mint. The palate is juicy, with a hint of black plum on the attack, chocolate, then tangy fruits (red cherry, morello cherry, raspberry, blackcurrant), a good bitterness of cocoa, notes of licorice, coffee, toast and smoke. The tannins are well-built, fine, a little tight. Good structure and acidity, medium length.
