The nose offers fine notes of fresh blackberry, raspberry and spices associated with hints of Sichuan pepper as well as a subtle hint of violet. The palate is fruity, mineral, racy, sleek, slightly fleshy and offers freshness as well as a small fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, black cherry and slight notes of raspberry associated with woody hints as well as slight hints of Sichuan pepper, spices and a very discreet hint of chocolate. Tannins are a bit dry. Good length. The aftertaste is slightly powerful.
