It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of crushed raspberry associated with a touch of small fleshy fruits, cornflower, violet as well as fine hints of graphite, caramelization, chocolate and a very discreet hint of cardamom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a good definition, a small richness, finesse, tension, a fine acidulous frame, precision, a fine creaminess as well as gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of fleshy/acidulous small red fruits associated with small touches of crushed blueberry, toasted, chocolate, very fine hints of fresh flowers as well as discreet hints of caramelization, vanilla and a subtle hint of nutmeg. Tannins are elegant and racy Good length. There is a subtle hint of caramelized hazelnut on the finish.
