The nose is fruity, elegant, racy and offers a beautiful finesse of the grain, a very fine power/concentration and a fine deepness. It reveals notes of blackberry, very ripe cassis and small notes of ripe/fleshy Gariguette strawberry associated with fine touches of violet, toasted, caramelization as well as fine hints of gray pepper, chocolate, iris and an imperceptible hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, freshness, a good definition as well as a good guideline. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, juicy blackberry and small notes of fleshy/juicy strawberry associated with fine touches of wild raspberry, small berries, violet as well as hints of caramelization, chocolate, toasted and a discreet hint of cardamom. Tannins are elegant and very discreetly firm. Good length and persistence.
