The nose is fresh, fruity and offers generosity and minerality. It reveals notes of blackberry and fresh wild raspberry combined with toasted touches, almond, spices, racy minerality and a discreet hint of gray pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a beautiful acid frame, a racy minerality, precision, a fine juiciness as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of raspberry jelly associated with small touches of ripe berries as well as fine touches of licorice, grilled oak, almond, toasted oak and a hint of cocoa on the finish. Good length.
