Lovely, elegant, precise nose that offers a lovely shine of the fruit, a certain freshness, a lovely sense of detail as well as a multi-layered side. A lovely fine grain, fresh and intense (in delicacy). We find notes of black blackberry, tobacco and more slightly of small pulpy black berries associated with touches of violet, lily, camphor, delicate touches of infusion, bright blueberry as well as a hint of mocha, cardamom, a discreet hint of cornflower and an imperceptible almost Mediterranean hint in the fruit. The palate is nicely led, delicate, supple, gourmet, airy (in its pulpiness), all in accuracy and offers a very nice stretched side, depth, a tangy frame, a lovely sense of detail (like a silk square) as well as a lovely precise, delicate and gourmet touch. A beautiful delicacy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright cassis and small notes of small bright blue fruits associated with touches of raspberry, bright/pulpy cherry, bright/pulpy cherry, violet as well as hints of cornflower, infusion, tonka bean, a hint of roasting and toasted almond. The tannins are chalky, elegant and gourmand. A discreet hint of good bitterness from the cocoa on the finish/persistence.
