Château La Violette 2022 – Pomerol

A lovely delicate, subtle nose, which offers a certain richness, balance and a slight pulpiness. It expresses notes of violet, bright/pulpy blackcurrant and, more slightly, fresh/pulp violet plum associated with a touch of pulpy cherry, lily as well as delicate hints of graphite, cardamom and sweet spices. The palate is fruity and offers a juicy/tart frame, pulpy, gourmand and elegant, finesse, a bomb of fruit in finesse and subtlety. It expresses notes of pulpy/tart plum, bright cherry and more slightly – juicy/tart blueberry, combined with touches of cornflower, violet as well as hints of tonka bean, vanilla and a subtle hint of toast.
