The nose is fruity, elegant, racy and offers gourmandize, freshness and a certain aromatic purity. It reveals notes of juicy Boysen berry, bright strawberry, small notes of blueberry associated with touches of bright raspberry, fresh lily as well as hints of zan and a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers a stretchy side, an acidulous frame, suavity as well as a beautiful finesse of the definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright strawberry, small notes of pulpy/juicy cassis associated with small touches of pulpy violet plum, lily, fresh cornflower as well as fine hints of liquorice stick, spices, sense of the place, a very discreet hint of mocha and grilled (in the background). Good length. Tannins are well-built. A discreet hint of bitterness of the cocoa on the finish/persistence.
