Château La Verrière – La Vigne et l’oiseau 2020 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The nose is elegant, gourmand and offers a certain small power as well as a fine creaminess. There are notes of boysenberry, pulpy raspberry and small notes of small juicy roasted red fruits associated with touches of star anise as well as a subtle hint of pepper and vanilla flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, freshness, roundness, a slight stretched side, a good definition, gourmandize as well as a slight creaminess. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, creamy raspberry and small notes of pulpy strawberry associated with touches of roasted fruit, licorice stick, vanilla and toasted/chocolate. Tannins are mellow and gourmands. Good length.
