The nose is fruity, well-balanced, nicely done, elegant and slightly fleshy. There are notes of fleshy blackberry, black cherry and fleshy / ripe Gariguette strawberry associated with hints of toasted oak as well as very discreet hints of spices of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, nicely done and offers finesse. Nice definition and gourmandise. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, blueberry and fresh strawberry combined with slight notes of crushed gooseberry as well as hints of toasted oak and a slight hint of licorice. There is slight toasted hint / vanilla and coffee on the persistence. Tannins are well-built. A nice wine and value.
