Château La Valière 2024 – Médoc

Juicy, even roasted fruits on the nose (morello cherry, roasted red cherry, wild strawberry, blackcurrant, blackberry), with a noticeable toasted touch (toasted hazelnut, toasted wood), sweet wild mint, liquorice, a hint of vanilla, sweet fresh flowers (peony, iris, a touch of violet). The palate is savoury, juicy and fresh (it expresses the flavors of morello cherry, bigarreau, strawberry, raspberry, blackcurrant), toasted (toasted hazelnut, toasted wood, a good bitterness of coffee) with notes of dried mint, fresh flowers and licorice. The tannins are slightly drying on the persistence, grippy. The acidity is lively and salivating. A chiseled and juicy wine.
