The nose is intense. There are notes of pulpy/fresh blackcurrant, pulpy cherry and more slightly fresh/juicy strawberry combined with fine touches of liquorice, saffron (in its floral side), racy minerality as well as discreet spice and a subtle touch of pepper. The palate is fresh, juicy and offers a certain crunchiness of fruit, a good definition/neatness of fruit, a fresh frame and roundness. On the palate this wine expresses pulpy cherry, fleshy strawberry and more slightly juicy/pulpy blackberry notes combined with hints of blue berry, fresh blueberry, lily as well as fine hints of liquorice, Bourbon vanilla and a subtle almost caramelised edge.
