The nose is powerful, fruity, racy and spicy. It reveals notes of Boysenberry and spices associated with hints of gray pepper, red fruits (strawberry…), undergrowth as well as a discreet touch of licorice and tea. The palate is fruity, mineral, silky, well-balanced and offers a small fleshy, a good density, a small tension, fat, a good structureand it’s… a bit aerial. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy Boysenberry, cherry, raspberry and hints of cassis, crushed strawberry associated with slight notes of spices, gray pepper as well as a hint of oak, grilled/cacao oak, zan and a discreet hint of green pepper. Tannins are fine and a bit dry. Good length and persistence.
