Château La Tour Figeac 2018 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity, elegant and well-built. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe blackberry and small notes of ripe raspberry associated with fine touches of flowers, discreet hints of spices as well as an imperceptible hint of Cuben pepper and nutmeg. The palate is fresh, fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers a good definition, an acidulous frame, precision, gourmandize as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of fleshy/juicy raspberry associated with small touches of flowers, toasted as well as discreet hints o Bourbon vanilla, a subtle hint of spices and an imperceptible hint of grilled bread (in the background). Good length. Sapidity on the finish.
