The nose is well-built. It reveals notes of blackberry, iris, lilac, small notes of strawberry associated with small touches of cassis as well as fine hints of cuben pepper, fresh mild tobacco and a very discreet hint of cardamom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, a good juiciness, tension, freshness, precision as well as a racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, fresh/juicy raspberry, small notes of cassis associated with touches of lilac, fresh violet as well as hints of nutmeg, cardamom, tea and tonka bean. Tannins are very slightly firm/sticky.
