Château La Tour de Mons 2018 – Margaux

The nose is fresh, fruity, racy and offers elegance. It reveals notes of ripe/juicy strawberry, juicy/ripe blackberry and small notes of cassis associated with touches of vanilla,flowers as well as discreet hints of hazelnut (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, gourmandize, an acidulous/juicy frame, precision as well as straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, fleshy/juicy raspberry, fleshy/juicy black cherry and small notes of small red berries associated with small touches of caramelization, vanilla, toasted, racy minerality as well as a very discreet hint of graphite. Tannins are well-built.
