Château la Tour de By – Cuvée Cabernet Franc 2022 – Médoc

The nose is beautifully gourmand rich, elegant and fleshy, with a certain depth and elegance. It reveals notes of boysenberry, violet and pulpy plum, associated with touches of jelly, redcurrant as well as fine hints of cornflower, cola and graphene. The palate is nicely fruity, fresh, fleshy, nicely textured, with gourmandise, a certain fat, a beautiful purity of fruit and offers a controlled, just-right intensity. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, pulpy/juicy blue plum, as well as fine hints of crushed raspberry, small jellied fruits, toasted hints, cornflower and blond tobacco. Tannins are supple, elegant and delicate.
