Château La Tour de By 2024 – Médoc

The nose is elegant and aromatic, it offers a fine, relatively intense, airy grain and a certain depth. It reveals notes of bright strawberry, concentrated raspberry and small notes of spices, associated with touches of Cubèbe pepper, wild cassis, as well as a hint of blond tobacco and vanilla. The palate is fruity and mineral, it offers a fresh frame, suppleness, gourmandise, precision and a discreetly tight/taut tannic frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, juicy/fresh cherry and small notes of small bright red berries, associated with touches of juicy cassis, as well as fine hints of lilac, star anise and a hint of tobacco and sweet pepper. The tannins are racy and frank. A little mellowness/sapidity on the finish/persistence. A wine offering gourmandise.
