Château La Tour de Bessan 2020, Margaux, Cru Bourgeois

On the nose it offers a fine power as well as a certain controlled richness. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, blackcurrant and slightly violet associated with touches of blond tobacco, a fine hint of caramelization, fresh almond and a very discreet hint of fresh iris. On the palate is fruity and offers juiciness, some minerality, harmony, good definition, gluttony and a mineral structure. This wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy blackberry, crushed raspberry and more slightly bright small berries associated with touches of violet, lilac, racy minerality (terroir) as well as fine hints of crushed blackcurrant, tonka bean and a subtle hint of caramelization. Good length.
