The nose is elegant, precise and offers concentration, a certain deepness as well as a certain controlled richness. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, pulpy raspberry and small notes of small bright black berries associated with touches of liquorice stick, violet, a racy minerality (almost discreetly iodide), camphor as well as discreet hints of cornflower and a subtle hint of spices/varietal (in the background). The palate is fruity, squared and offers suavity, juiciness, minerality as well as gourmandize, a certain richness, unctuosity, an acidulous frame, fullness, a certain ampleness and energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and small notes of raspberry associated with touches of bright violet plum, small black berries, hints of camphor, grey pepper as well as discreet hints of vanilla and almond. Tannins are well-built, finely firm. Good length.
