The nose is fruity, fine and relatively powerful. It reveals notes of blackberry, plum and fine notes of cassis associated with a hint of liquorice and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, quite elegant and offers precision, minerality, tension as well as a beautiful silky matter and a good purity of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis jelly and slight notes of black cherry associated with a discreet hint of strawberry, oak, spices as well as a hint of graphite and Zan. Tannins are fine and a bit dry. Good length.
