The nose is aromatic, gourmand, fine and intense. It reveals notes of blackberry, ripe strawberry and slight notes of cassis, raspberry associated with discreet touches of Sichuan pepper, violet, truffle, spices as well as a subtle hint of oak / wood, chocolate and a discreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, suave, fat, elegant, silky, round and offers a nice definition, a nice grain as well as concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, crushed cassis and strawberry combined with slight touches of crushed redcurrant, truffle, spices, cardamom, mocha and discreet hints of toasted oak (in the background). Tannins are fine, structuring and well-built. Beautiful persistence. There is a subtle hint of almond on the aftertaste.
