Château la Tour Blanche 2024 – Sauternes, Cru Classé

The nose presents power, intensity and a certain depth. It reveals notes of sweet quince, fine hints of small concentrated fruits, associated with fine touches of verbena, dry zest, as well as a hint of yuzu and spices. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral and offers lovely tension. It also presents accuracy, precision, a chiselled, clean and syrupy side, with energy, balance and lovely acidity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of candied kumquat, candied quince and small notes of crystallized mandarin, combined with touches of green peach, lime, as well as fine hints of crunchy pineapple, floral touches and lovely hints of minerality in the background. Good length. A subtle hint of fresh almond, iodine and discreet hints of creamy vanilla in the background. A harmonious, melodious wine with a nice spherical side in its fatness.
