Château La Tour Blanche 2015 – Sauternes, 1er Grand Cru Classé

(83% Semillon and 13% Sauvignon Blanc, 4% Muscadelle) The nose is fruity. It reveals notes of citrus fruits (clementine, fresh lemon …), tangerine seed associated with touches of pink grapefruit, citrus flowers and a hint of green apple, honey and spices. The palate is fruity, gourmand, elegant, aerial and offers a beautiful acid frame, tension, fat, smoothness and roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pear jam, orange marmalade and a touch of lemon associated with a hint of apple compote, pineapple in syrup, slight notes of spices as well as a discreet touch of ginger, honey and passion fruit. Good length and persistence with notes of lemon.
