Château la Tonnelle 2022 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is well-built, fruity, racy, with a certain power in precision, a lovely fine, slender grain. It reveals notes of boysenberry, small roasted red berries small notes of blackberry, associated with fine hints almost of sage, bay leaf, sweet spices and zan. The palate is fruity, juicy, fresh and mineral, with good definition, a certain precision, a racy structure, and a marked but well-built tannic frame. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, black plum small notes of small elegant-roasted red fruits, associated with touches of zan, cola, a hint of sappy, almost fresh laurel/laurel berries, as well as hints of cocoa/cardamom and fresh roasting.
