Château La Serre 2021 Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé

Beautiful, elegant, fruity nose that offers a silky textured side and a beautiful pulpy fruit. It reveals notes of bigarreau cherry, pulpy blackberry, and small notes of cornflower, associated with touches of star anise as well as hints of lily, sweet pepper, and sweet spices. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, a good definition, a certain delicacy, precision, and an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/ juicy blackberry, bright cherry and small notes of juicy cassis associated with touches of lily, pepper as well as delicate hints of cherry blossoms, blond tobacco, and a hint of cardamon. Good length. Fresh and silky tannins. Beautiful work on good bitterness in the background with a sapid persistence.
