The nose is fruity, juicy, elegant and offers gourmandize as well as finesse. It reveals notes of juicy/ripe cassis, ripe/juicy Boysen berry and small notes of violet associated with touches of vanilla, cornflower as well as fine hints of graphite, spices and Sichuan pepper. The palate is fresh, fruity, elegant, well-balanced, harmonious and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, a good definition, a beautiful precision as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy Boysen berry, fleshy/juicy cassis, cornflower, vanilla as wel as subtle hints oftoasted and a discreet hint of sugared mild tobacco. Tannins are elegant, racy and finely chewy. Good length and persistence (on hints of toasted almond, vanilla pod, chocolate as wel as an imperceptible hint of grilled bread).
