The nose is elegant and offers a fine richness. This wine needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of strawberry, blackberry and small notes of cassis associated with fine touches of flowers (violet, peony) as well as fine hints of vanilla, gray pepper and very discreet hints of nutmeg/toasted. The palate is fruity, well-built, juicy, precise and offers a racy minerality as well as a slightly acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy/juicy raspberry and small notes of juicy blackberry associated with a touch of juicy strawberry, violet as well as a subtle hint of juicy blueberry, toasted and cardamom/vanilla. Tannins are precise. Good length. There is an imperceptible hint of tea on the finish/persistence.
